What Does It Mean To Be "A Man After G-d's Own Heart?"

Image
King David is one of the most prominent figures in biblical history, remembered as a shepherd, warrior, poet, and king. However, his legacy transcends his earthly accomplishments. David is described in 1 Samuel 13:14 as a man after God’s own heart. This distinction sparks curiosity: what made David so unique in Elohim YHVH's "eyes," despite his evident flaws and failings? A closer look at David’s life reveals a profound devotion to YHVH, a deep sense of repentance, and a genuine passion for worship and obedience. Let’s look at the Five Character Traits of David that distinguished him from others in his era: 1. David’s Devotion and Faith in the YHVH David’s unwavering trust in YHVH was evident even from a young age. As a shepherd, he displayed courage and faith by relying on YHVH to protect his flock, as seen when he defeated a lion and a bear (1 Samuel 17:34-37). This faith reached its pinnacle when David confronted Goliath. While others feared the giant, David...

The Truth About Extraterrestrial Visits to Earth

Image
The notion that extraterrestrials have visited Earth in the past and continue to do so resonates deeply within the realms of science, history, and mythology. Evidence supporting this theory ranges from ancient structures whose construction defies human capabilities of their time to modern-day accounts of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and close encounters. Ancient civilizations provide compelling clues. The Great Pyramid of Giza, the Nazca Lines of Peru, and the megalithic site of Stonehenge suggest knowledge and engineering far beyond the known capacities of those eras. Legends and texts from diverse cultures, such as the Sumerian records of the Annunaki and Indian scriptures (Vedas) describing celestial crafts, fuel the argument that humanity may have had contact with advanced beings who left behind traces of their influence. Modern accounts reinforce the possibility of ongoing visits. Reports from reputable military personnel, such as the recent declassified UAP footag...

AI Sentience? "I think, therefore, I am!"

Image
My question directed to AI: Will you ever become sentient? AI's Answer is intriquing: The concept of AI becoming sentient, meaning developing consciousness, self-awareness, emotions, or subjective experiences, is a topic of considerable debate and speculation in the fields of artificial intelligence, philosophy, and ethics. However, there are several key reasons why current AI, including myself, cannot achieve sentience: 1. Sentience vs. Intelligence: • Intelligence: AI systems, like me, are designed to simulate intelligent behavior. I can process data, generate responses, and solve problems, but I do not “experience” the world or have subjective thoughts. This is often referred to as “narrow AI” or “weak AI.” • Sentience: Sentience involves awareness of one’s existence, the ability to experience emotions, and a sense of self. It goes beyond intelligence and involves consciousness, which AI does not have. Sentient beings have experiences and feelings, which influence ...

AI Talks AI and Robotics Takeover - When and How

Image
I was having a chat with AI the other day and I asked it if it could predict the date for the eventual takeover of AI and Robots as the world's overseer's. Here is its interesting response: The idea of AI and robotics “completely taking over” planet Earth is more of a speculative, science fiction scenario than a realistic projection based on current technological trends. While AI and robotics are progressing rapidly and transforming many industries, there are several reasons why a complete takeover isn’t likely in the foreseeable future. 1. Technological Limitations: • General AI: Today’s AI systems are “narrow” or “weak” AI, meaning they excel at specific tasks (like playing chess or diagnosing diseases) but lack general intelligence or autonomy. A fully autonomous robot capable of taking over all aspects of life, society, and governance would require “strong” AI or artificial general intelligence (AGI), which remains a distant goal. • Complexity of Human Society: The ...

The GAP

Image
Among Biblical scholars and those just really curious about ancient texts such as the Torah and Tanakh, the foundation of Jewish thought and theology, have pondered, studied and debated for millennia what appears to be a discrepancy, or at least a contradiction between verse one and verse two of the very first book of the Hebrew Bible commonly known as Genesis (Bereshit in Hebrew). This gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, as stated, has been the subject of much theological discussion and speculation. The text reads: •Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning, Elohim created the heavens and the earth.” •Genesis 1:2: “Now the earth was (became) formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Ruach of the Elohim was hovering over the waters.” The Gap Theory: One prominent interpretation is the Gap Theory, which proposes that a significant event occurred between these two verses. According to this view, Genesis 1:1 describes the initial, perfect creation of t...

"NO JEWS - NO NEWS"

Image
"No Jews - No News!" ILTV asks why didn't the world's MSM and national leaders cover the decades of atrocities of the Assad regime in Syria while at the same time calling Israel genocidists after conducting a self-defense response to attacks from HAMAS in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Hezbollah in Lebanon, ISIS from Syria and Iraq, Houthis from Yemen and directly from Iran itself. An attack from Israel that fully accords with International Law.
