Fear Not the Next Four Years
For all those who are concerned today with the new incoming administration in Washington D.C. which will govern this nation over the next four years here is a word. Every day in our morning prayers called Shacharit we read the Psalm for the day. On this inauguration day of Wednesday, January 20, 2021 that Psalm found in Psalm 94 and 95 is very appropriate for us who have our trust firmly established in the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Almighty of vengeance, Adonai, Almighty of vengeance, reveal Yourself. Arise Judge of the earth, repay the arrogant their just reward. How long shall the wicked — Adonai — how long shall the wicked exalt? They express, they speak with arrogance; all the evildoers are boastful. Adonai, they crush Your people and Your heritage they oppress. The widow and stranger they kill, and orphans they murder. And they say, “God does not see, the God of Jacob is not concerned.” Consider, you stupid ones among the people, — and you fools when will you be
